Ibrahim Mbaye might part ways with Paris Saint-Germain during the upcoming summer transfer window. The 18-year-old winger is eager to secure a spot as a regular starter, something Luis Enrique currently cannot guarantee him. Recognised as one of the brightest talents in Ligue 1, it’s no surprise that this right-sided attacker has attracted significant interest, especially from Premier League clubs.

Recently, media reports have highlighted that clubs such as Newcastle United and Aston Villa are closely monitoring his situation. Fresh updates about the young talent were shared on social media by Ekrem Konur.

According to the journalist, another British giant, Liverpool, appears to be leading the race to sign Mbaye. As Liverpool looks to find a replacement for Mohamed Salah, the Senegalese winger could potentially fill part of the gap left by the Egyptian star.

The promising player joined Paris Saint-Germain’s academy in July 2018, having started his football journey at FC Versailles. By July 2025, Mbaye had earned his promotion to PSG’s senior team and became an integral part of Luis Enrique’s squad.

A ten-time Senegal international, Mbaye has made 28 appearances this season, netting 1 goal and providing 2 assists. The young talent is contracted to his current club until mid-2028. According to the reputable site “Transfermarkt,” his market value is estimated at around €30 million.
