Juventus is experiencing a lackluster season by its usual standards. The Old Lady currently holds 63 points and sits in 4th place in the Serie A standings. The team’s coach, Luciano Spalletti, is eager to strengthen the squad during the summer transfer window.

The seasoned manager is looking to enhance competition in several areas, including adding an attacking midfielder to the second line to improve the team’s overall performance.

According to Ekrem Konur, Juventus has set its sights on Ibrahim Maza. The 20-year-old Algerian player has been impressing as part of Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, showcasing remarkable talent on the pitch.

The Berlin-born midfielder’s market value has been on a steady climb, and media reports suggest the Turin giants might need to invest around €55-65 million to secure his signature.

A 15-time Algerian international, Maza joined Bayer Leverkusen in July 2025 after transferring from Hertha Berlin for a fee of €12 million. In the current season, he has made 39 appearances, scoring 5 goals and providing 6 assists.

The playmaker’s contract with Bayer Leverkusen runs until June 30, 2030. He is also drawing attention from other prominent European clubs, including Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, and Manchester City.
