The South African Football Association (SAFA) is actively supporting Bafana Bafana head coach Pitso Mosimane as he builds his ideal technical team.
According to a report by iol.co.za, SAFA deputy president Linda Zwane has confirmed that discussions are progressing regarding a potential national team role for current AmaZulu FC coach Arthur Zwane.
SAFA Backs Mosimane’s Vision
SAFA has made its stance clear: the association aims to grant Mosimane full authority over his support staff to give the national side the best chance of success.
Linda Zwane emphasized that the governing body wants to provide total support to the technical unit, ensuring the head coach has every tool required to reach his objectives without organizational obstacles.
Experience Across South African Football
Arthur Zwane, affectionately known as ‘10111’, brings a wealth of domestic experience to the table. His background includes:
- Developmental Expertise: Extensive work with youth structures at Kaizer Chiefs.
- National Setup History: Previous experience serving as an assistant under former Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki in 2019.
- Club Management: Senior coaching roles at the top-flight level, culminating in his current position at AmaZulu.
This background makes him a strategic candidate to complement Mosimane’s technical team, offering deep insights into local player development and top-tier competition.
Technical Team Structure Taking Shape
SAFA’s efforts to complete the technical squad are moving quickly. The potential addition of Arthur Zwane follows the confirmed appointment of Morena Ramoreboli, who was added to Mosimane’s Bafana staff last week.
By surrounding the head coach with experienced local tacticians, the association aims to establish a strong foundation for the national team’s upcoming campaign.
