Discussions are currently underway regarding new fixture dates for Orlando Pirates. The club needs to move six Betway Premiership matches. These changes make way for their upcoming CAF Champions League group stage encounters. The team finds itself placed in Group C. They will face RS Berkane, Simba, and Colombe Sportive.

This assignment brings heavy travel demands. The squad faces long journeys between November 28 and January 22. Trips head north to Morocco, east to Tanzania, and down to Cameroon.

The Affected Domestic Fixtures

The six affected league games were initially set for weekends. They now need to move to midweek slots on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Four of these games were scheduled to be played at home.

Another highlight includes a massive away trip to face Mamelodi Sundowns FC. That fixture pits two of the top domestic teams of the last five years against each other. Proposed adjustments depend heavily on travel schedules and other tournament commitments like the Carling Knockout final.

Match planning remains fluid as organizers work to balance continental and domestic obligations.
