AmaZulu FC head coach Arthur Zwane believes it is time for the club to end their trophy drought.
Speaking at the Betway Premiership season launch in Johannesburg, Zwane expressed confidence in the team’s chances. He believes winning trophies is vital for growing and retaining the club’s fan base across South Africa.
According to a report by iol.co.za, Zwane emphasized that competing with the best remains the primary goal for Usuthu this year.
“If you want people to support you and follow you, you’ve got to start winning. Silverware is very important for every club in the PSL,” Zwane stated. He added that the team is determined to lift a cup this season.

AmaZulu FC finished in fourth place last season, just missing out on higher domestic goals behind clubs like Kaizer Chiefs.
However, Usuthu started their pre-season strongly by retaining the Premier’s Cup in KwaZulu-Natal. To support their national ambitions, the club brought in Bafana Bafana strategist Sinesipho Mali. Zwane highlighted that Mali’s experience will bring massive value to the technical setup.
