Uruguay vs Brazil Betting Tips

  • Bet on Uruguay to win- 2.80 at Betway.
  • Bet on Uruguay to win 2-1- 10 at Betfred.
  • Bet on Darwin Nunez to score- 3.15 at Betway.

Bet on Uruguay to Win

It promises to be a close game. However, Brazil are not as mighty as they once were. They do not have the same fear-factor that they had in years gone by. Uruguay have not won a major tournament since they claimed the Copa America in 2011 under the guidance of Oscar Tabarez. They are eager to end that run and have a star-studded squad which is capable of beating Brazil. Uruguay also have a bit more confidence heading into this tournament as their pre-tournament form was good whereas it was shaky for Brazil.

Bet on Uruguay to Win 2-1

There is a high chance that both teams will score in this game. Both teams have not exactly found it hard to score goals lately though Brazil have found it hard to win games on a regular basis. In the end, it will be an exciting game with plenty of end to end action. Uruguay will just about succeed in doing what they need to do to come out of this clash with a win to their name.

Bet on Darwin Nunez to Score

Darwin Nunez should have a few chances to score in this game. The Brazil defensive unit has several flaws which he is perfectly capable of exploiting. He will be feed in a decent amount of service and should succeed in finding the back of the net at least once in what should be a closely fought game. The 25-year-old has so far found the back of the net twice in the three Copa America games he has played.

What the Coaches Say?

Uruguay coach Marcelo Bielsa has given good advice to English football giants Liverpool on how to get the most out of striker Darwin Nunez.

“Darwin is a player who doesn’t need any kind of support,” Bielsa told a press conference.

“You have to know what it means to play for Liverpool and who he is competing with, and what his cycles were like, when he scored, when he stopped scoring, why he stopped scoring. These are things that he manages in proportion to the place he occupies in the football world.”
