Recent reports have linked Mamelodi Sundowns FC midfielder Teboho Mokoena with a potential move to Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli. Speculation grew after former Ivory Coast captain Franck Kessie departed the club to join Serie A outfit Atalanta.

However, the player’s representative has moved quickly to dismiss these claims.
No Official Bids Received
Speaking to Egyptian outlet Kora Plus, agent Glyn Binkin clarified that no official contact has been made by the Saudi Arabian club.
“Despite there being a lot of speculation about this, as happens almost every transfer window, I have not received any contact from the club regarding this matter so far,” Binkin explained.
He added that Sundowns have not received an offer either. Given their working relationship, the club would have notified him immediately if a formal proposal existed.
Strategic Value and Contract Status
Mokoena remains under contract with his current club for another three years. Any potential suitor must negotiate directly with the South African side.
Binkin noted that when Mokoena extended his contract two years ago, both parties understood his ambition to play abroad eventually. He emphasized that Mokoena is widely considered the top player in his position on the continent, offering exceptional professionalism on and off the pitch. Consequently, Sundowns would expect a transfer fee that accurately reflects his high calibre.
