The Mpumalanga outfit secured automatic promotion to the Betway Premiership after a dominant run. They won the Motsepe Foundation Championship with 62 points, finishing eight points clear of second-placed Cape Town City.

Kaizer Chiefs Under Transition
In contrast, Amakhosi enter the campaign aiming for greater consistency. The Soweto giants finished third last season with 54 points following a mid-season slump.
