Katlego “Tsiki” Ntsabeleng is staying in South Africa. The 28-year-old midfielder has officially completed a permanent transfer to Mamelodi Sundowns FC from Major League Soccer side FC Dallas.

The deal comes after the South African club decided to exercise their purchase option following his initial loan period.

A Successful Loan Spell

Ntsabeleng spent last season on loan with the Brazilians. During his temporary stint, he made 11 appearances in the Betway Premiership. He established his value early by contributing two goals and one assist in those league matches.

His performances proved convincing enough for the technical team to lock down his services on a long-term basis as they build squad depth for upcoming campaigns. Departure From FC Dallas

The American outfit confirmed the transaction in an official statement, marking the end of Ntsabeleng’s spell in the United States.

“Midfielder Tsiki Ntsabeleng has completed a permanent transfer to Mamelodi Sundowns after the South African club exercised its purchase option following his season-long loan,” the club announced.

During his time in the MLS, the Johannesburg native accumulated valuable international experience:

  • 92 appearances across four seasons in all competitions.
  • Two goals and seven assists registered for the club.
  • Made his professional debut against Toronto FC on February 26, 2022.

This move solidifies his transition back into South African football. It gives his team added stability in midfield for future domestic challenges.

According to KickOff, the permanent transfer has now been fully concluded by both parties.
