Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Karim Kimvuidi has officially found a new club. This move comes just one week after his departure from the South African team.

The Congolese player was part of a group released by the Soweto giants. Head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou is currently reshaping the squad for the upcoming season.

A Return to Familiar Territory

Kimvuidi spent the previous campaign away from the Buccaneers. He played on loan for Israeli Premier League side M.S. Ashdod. During his loan spell, the 24-year-old scored four league goals and provided two assists.

Now, the midfielder has secured a permanent return to Israel. He has officially signed with Hapoel Petah Tikva for the 2026/27 season. The contract runs until the end of the current season. It also includes an option to extend for an additional two years.

Player and Club Outlook

Hapoel Petah Tikva confirmed the acquisition directly from kickoff.com. The technical staff expects the technically gifted player to bring creativity, vision, and strong attacking instincts to the team.

Kimvuidi expressed his enthusiasm about the transfer. He noted that he is excited to join a club with a rich history and great supporters. The midfielder also stated his desire to repay the trust of the technical staff on the pitch.
