Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly secured the signature of national team winger Elias Mokwana on a free transfer. The 27-year-old attacker enters this new chapter after recently parting ways with Tunisian club Esperance.

A Free Agent Move

Mokwana spent the past few weeks as a free agent following the termination of his contract with Esperance. Sources close to the situation indicate that the transfer is fully completed, with an official announcement expected later this week.

Before his move abroad, the Mpumalanga-born forward first rose to prominence while playing for Sekhukhune United. His strong performances earned him a transfer to Esperance in 2024.

Career Path Leading to Naturena

During his time overseas, Mokwana spent a period on loan with Saudi Arabian side Al Hazem. Following his return to Esperance, both parties mutually decided to terminate the agreement, paving the way for his arrival at the Kaizer Chiefs.

Representatives from Cream Sports Management were unavailable for comment, and club officials have not yet responded to inquiries regarding the transfer.
